Once in awhile there is a 3 week gap between events, when what would otherwise have been an event date falls on a holiday, or occasionally for some other reason.
Those who are featured Biz Net Sparks presenters have the opportunity to reach people they would likely not otherwise reach, in pretty much any part of the world.
Among the 55 countries we’ve had people attend our events from are countries one wouldn’t expect, such as Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Australia, China, Curacao, & more.
For some countries, it’s literally the middle of the night (in their local time zone) when they’re attending a ‘business networking’ event! It’s nuts—but also very exciting! Biz Net Sparks has no monetization. We never charge anyone for anything at any time. That may change in the future, but for now, you might as well get while the gettin’s good. Let’s just call this an ‘expensive hobby’.
Who We Are ?
Since our first live business networking event in a restaurant in Winnipeg, Canada on September 26, 2013, Biz Net Sparks has been sparking ideas, connections, conversations, collaborations, friendships, & business.
Here we are, nearly 12 years later, & we’ve had people from 55 countries attend our now (& for a few months less than the past 5 years) virtual global business networking events.
Our events are usually once every two weeks on a Thursday from 12 noon to 1:00pm in the Central Time zone that runs through Winnipeg.
Although some time zones do not go onto & off of Daylight Savings Time, we in the Central Time zone that runs through Winnipeg do, so that must be factored into the time zone conversion equation. These time zone conversions are easily done on the Internet. LinkedIn automatically does time conversions for our events right in the event post.
Lest anyone think it’s ‘crazy’ to not make money from this, consider that those who attended some of our recent events are now just 2 degrees of separation from Sir Richard Branson, one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, as just ONE of many such examples.There are some things in life that money just cannot buy. Biz Net Sparks is an example of a pathway to some of that.
